Schladming is situated in the Dachstein-Tauern region of Styria, in
the south-east of Salzburg.
Arrival by car :
Coming from the north, the west, from Germany or from
Innsbruck,
rejoin Salzburg. Take highway A10 in the direction of the south and
exit no. 63 B320/Graz near Radstadt. Continue on A-road
B320 until Schladming.
Coming from the east, from Vienna, Prague or Graz,
take
highway A9 until exit no. 39 Salzburg/Schladming near Lienzen.
Continue on A-road B320 until Schladming.
Coming from the south, from Italy and Carinthia,
take the Tauern highway (Udine-Tarvis-Villach), drive through the
Katschberg- and the Tauern tunnels and take exit no. 63
B320/Graz. Continue on A-road B320 until Schladming.
The hotel enjoys a quiet situation in the town centre, close
to
the town hall. Parking spaces are available nearby.
The cable car to the gorgeous Planai skiing, hiking and
mountainbiking
area is a 5-minute walk away.
Arrival by train :
Schladming railway station lies on the Salzburg - Bischofshofen -
Schladming - Liezen -
Graz line of the Austrian railway company (ÖBB). Intercity trains
leave frequently for both directions.

On foot, it is roughly 1 km to the hotel. Walk down Bahnhofstrasse
and
cross the Enns river. Turn right into Dachsteingasse which leads into
Salzburger Strasse. Turn left. The hotel is about 100 m further away
and the main square (Hauptplatz) rightwards.
